Creating an Apple ID

An Apple ID is essential for downloading apps and books. Your Apple ID can also be used as an iCloud account which grants you access to 5 GB of cloud storage and grants access to features like Find My iPad.

There are two ways to create an Apple ID, with or without a credit card.

iBooks can still be purchased without a credit card attached by using an iTunes gift card

Managed Apple IDs are Apple IDs created through the school that have limited functionality. These cannot be used for purchases or any of the following:

Apple Fitness+
Apple News+
Apple TV+
