KEY STEPS

 

Step 1: Complete Your Application Online

  • Applications open on November 1, 2024
  • New McT parents will create an account with PowerSchool Enrollment
  • Existing McT parents will login with their parent PowerSchool Enrollment account to add their incoming freshman
  • Priority consideration will be given to those applications submitted by December 31, 2024

Step 2: Visit Us

  • All 8th-grade students who attend one of our Catholic Partner Schools will attend our Preview Day on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM - noon. As part of Preview Day, we will hold a special informational session for parents at 9:30 AM in the gym, followed by campus tours led by our Student Ambassadors.
  • Parents unable to attend Preview Day may attend one of our “Mornings at McT” sessions or schedule a personal tour.

Step 3: High School Placement Test

  • The Placement Test is a required checklist item for all 8th-grade applicants to attend McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. The test will be administered at each of our Catholic Partner Schools on a date determined by the school.

Step 4: Apply for Tuition Assistance

  • All families are eligible to apply for Tuition Assistance. General Scholarship applications open on November 1, 2024. Priority will be given to those applications submitted by December 31, 2024.
  • Catholic students are welcome to apply for the St. Augustine Scholarship program. This application has a firm deadline of December 31, 2024.
  • Applications for the CHOOSE Act will open in early January, 2025

Step 5: Admissions Decisions

  • Acceptance packets will be mailed mid-February 2025. Students who have a complete application on file by the end of January 2025 will be considered for admission to the Class of 2029.

Step 6: Freshmen Registration

  • Accepted students will be invited to our Freshmen Registration event which will be held on assigned dates and times between March 10-18, 2025. Students and their families will meet with a Guidance Counselor to make course selections.
