Admissions Process

APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN NOVEMBER 1, 2024

KEY STEPS

Step 1: Complete Your Application Online

• New McT parents will create an account with PowerSchool Enrollment
• Existing McT parents will login with their parent PowerSchool Enrollment account 
• Priority consideration will be given to those applications submitted by December 31, 2024

• All 8th-grade students who attend one of our Catholic Partner Schools will attend our Preview Day on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM - noon. We will hold a special informational session for parents at 9:30 AM in the gym.
• Prospective students and parents coming to us from outside of our Partner Schools are encouraged to attend a "Morning at McT" session or schedule a personal tour. 

• The HSPT is a required checklist item for all 8th-grade applicants to attend McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. The test will be administered at each of our Catholic Partner Schools on a date determined by the school.
• We will administer the HSPT on our campus in the spring to those 8th grade applicants coming to us from a non-partner school.

• All families are eligible to apply for Tuition Assistance. Applications open on November 1, 2024. There is not a deadline to apply; however, priority will be given to those applications submitted by December 31, 2024.
• Catholic students are welcome to apply for the St. Augustine Scholarship program. This application has a firm deadline of December 31, 2024.

• Acceptance packets will be mailed mid-late February 2025. Students who have a complete application on file by the end of January 2025 will be considered for admission to the Class of 2029.

• Accepted students will be invited to our Freshman Registration event which will be held on assigned dates and times between March 10-18, 2025. Students and their families will meet with a Guidance Counselor to make course selections.
