Distance Learning Platforms

As McT has moved forward with technology over the last several years, we have used a variety of platforms to communicate lessons to students.  The 2019-2020 school year marks the year that we are transferring to a single solution with our purchase and roll out of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).  Next year all teachers will be required to use this single platform. However, this still means that there are a variety of platforms being used. Below is a quick rundown of the primary platforms and how they are accessed.

Canvas

Student access: mct.instructure.com or app (Canvas Student-iOS or Android) using school email credentials

Parent access: Start online https://mct.instructure.com/login/canvas

Click "Parent of Canvas User" at the top right

Sign up and then have the student give you a pairing code using the following steps

How do I generate a pairing code for an observer as a student?

Students will not be able to generate the code from app, but from the web interface where they login with their Google credentials at: mct.instructure.com
