Adult Big Field Day - Team Registration ~ CYO fundraiser

Thank you for your support of Adult Big Field Day! 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT “ADULT BIG FIELD DAY” 

Check-in 3:30-4:30pm

Mass 4:00pm on the Field / Events Begin 4:30

TEAM UNIFORMS: Uniforms are not required but teams are encouraged to be creative in the “uniforms”. The team most “spirited” will receive 5 points. A Secret committee will decide the winner.

TEAM BANNER: The team with the best banner will receive 5 points. Banners must be homemade (they may not be printed professionally). Banners are to be displayed on the fence along the field.. They can be taped or zip tied onto the fence. A secret committee will decide the winner.

SCORING: Volunteers will serve as scorekeepers. The team having accumulated the most points will be declared the “CHAMP” and awarded a trophy to take home. There are no prizes or money for winning only “bragging rights” for a year. There may be a “Thanks for participating” trophy for the last place team!

TEAMS: Teams will consist of no more than 10 members. Each registered team will receive 10 wristbands and 10 ABFD t-shirts. Teams must preregister by Tuesday May 10. Participants may participate on ONLY one team. Each team member will be required to sign a hold harmless liability waiver to participate in events. Teams will rotate together to the 10 events. Referees (Volunteers) will explain the rules of each event, officiate and keep score. Referees rulings are final. Every team member will not have to participate in every event. Teams compete for points and the team accumulating the most points at the end of the competition will be declared the “CHAMP”.

FOOD: Food will be available and is included in the team fee as well as with purchase of an admission ticket.

APPAREL: ABFD t-shirts will be available for purchase for $25 in advance and some the day of the event but are given to each team member/sponsor.

AFTER PARTY INFORMATION: The “athletic” portion of ABFD is 4:30-7:00pm (we hope). The after party will take place from 7-10pm. Admission is included with team fee and with admission ticket. We hope you stay for food, beverages and music!

EVENTS: Tug of War, Hula Hoop, Football Toss, Soccer Ball Kick, Over Under Relay, Beach Ball Relay, Dizzy Bat Race, 3 Legged Race, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Bean Bag Toss and of course the King of the Trash Collection!

WEATHER AND REFUNDS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: In the event of adverse weather, natural catastrophe, or any other condition determined to post a significant safety concern to any individual parties, the CYO maintains the right to delay, modify, or cancel the event. As such conditions fall under the label “Acts of God”, there will be NO REFUNDS!
