Drawing 1

Students will draw from observation applying the elements of design: line, form, color, value, shape and space. Still lives, portraits, figure drawing, landscapes, non-objective art and perspective drawings are some of the projects that will be done in class. The students will learn about composition through two-dimensional design and improve basic artistic skills. Drawing vocabulary for each project will be learned and demonstrated in class.

Supplies can be purchased at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Target and Alabama Art. 

Supplies due ONE week after classes begin.

2 white erasers

12 inch clear ruler

2 black ultra fine Sharpie Markers

2 black fine point Sharpie Markers

Set of 12 Prismacolor Colored pencils

Pencil case large enough to hold all supplies except sketchbook
