Campus Ministry

Welcome to the home of McGill-Toolen Catholic HS Campus Ministry!

PURPOSE: Our purpose is to directly aid the mission of our school which is first and foremost to create disciples of Jesus Christ. Each one of us is made for Heaven! Each one of us is made to be a SAINT! We are here to remind our students of these truths, and to walk with them encouraging them to live in the freedom of Christ daily.

GOALS: Provide access to the Sacraments as often as possible. Provide retreat opportunities for students to encounter the Lord, grow in their Faith, deepen their prayer lives, and learn to live in Christ-centered community with their peers. Provide opportunities for students to serve the poor in our local, national, and International communities.  Provide weekly, on-campus opportunities before and after school for students to pray and worship together, grow together, and learn to lead as Christ leads. Provide assistance and guidance to students wishing to join the Catholic Church. Provide opportunities for students to become active leaders in the pro-life movement through prayer, fasting, and study. Support and work in conjunction with our local Parish Youth Ministry programs.

PARTNERING WITH PARENTS: Parents! Thank you for choosing McT for your child(ren)! As paragraph 2223 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us, parents are the primary educators and evangelists of their children. ("Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children. They bear witness to this responsibility first by creating a home where tenderness, forgiveness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are the rule. The home is well suited for education in the virtues." CCC 2223). We are here to walk alongside you in this great and vital mission of sharing and teaching the Catholic Faith to your children -- and we are humbled and privileged to do so. Please feel free to reach out to us at any time during the school year! Lastly, our ministry relies greatly on the support of parents like you. Our number one need is your prayerful support -- prayer is powerful, please keep our school community and our ministry in your prayers. If, and only if, you feel called to assist us in our ministry in other ways, some great ways to help include: donating food for retreats, sponsoring/financing retreat/trip/event spots, general donations to defer retreat/trip/event overall costs, etc. We are grateful for you, and we are excited to work alongside you in forming young disciples of Jesus Christ!
