1. Movie Vocabulary: Look up those terms that will be used in the movie and record them in NOTABILITY
2. Questions for Consideration: Answer the two questions about the bottom in English about what you think the movie could be about.

Honors Spanish II – Reflexive Verbs & Pronouns Test

 We will be taking our Pronoun Test on Wednesday, November 08, 2015. It will cover the following materials:

1. Reflexive Verbs
   • Meaning of verbs, how to conjugate them (w/ reflexive pronoun), regular and stem-changing verbs), how to describe your daily routines
2. Direct Object Pronouns
   • What direct objects are, replacing direct objects with pronouns, and placement (before conjugated verb or attached to infinitive)
3. Indirect Object Pronouns
   • What indirect objects are, replacing indirect objects with pronouns, and placement (before conjugated verb or attached to infinitive)
4. Double Object Pronouns
   • Order of pronouns, placement (before conjugated verbs or attached to infinitives (remember added accent mark)). 
5. Pronouns and Infinitives
   • When to use infinitives as opposed to conjugated verbs, attaching pronouns on to infinitives (with the added accent mark).

1. You will select 10 verbs that are -GO verbs. (not -ZCO or irregular)
2. You will write 2 sentences per verb.
• 1st: In the “yo” form - illustrating that you know that it is irregular in the “yo”
• 2nd: In any other form - illustrating that you know that it is regular in all forms but “yo” (DIFFERENT SENTENCE)
3. All sentences must be at least 10 words. I will be looking for this when I correct them.
4. You will not have two drafts on this assignment like last time. So make this one count.
5. No translators may be used or consulted.

1. Please review and prepare for your quiz on gustar verbs on Friday, October 2. 
2. Please take the Quia Quiz Quiz - Verbs Like Gustar by class tomorrow. You will have two attempts. 
3. Pleas begin working on your Gustar Verbs project. The instructions are online and you can ask any questions you would like. 

• On Friday night, Pope Francis will celebrate Mass at Madison Square Garden (in Spanish)
• On Sunday afternoon, Pope Francis's Apostolic Journey will conclude with the largest event of his trip: the Mass for the World Meeting of Families. This Mass will be mostly celebrated in Spanish. 

1.  Essay Corrections (optional: first and final drafts due tomorrow) 
2. Sentence Corrections (required)
   • You should have received your sentences back in class. All the mistakes are highlighted. You must re-do the assignment, correcting all mistakes, underline verb structures, and skipping lines on a new piece of paper. It is due tomorrow.

• antes de / después de + INFINITIVE = before/after doing something 
• antes de que + NOUN + VERB, después de que + NOUN + VERB = before/after ____ does something 
• en = at, a = to 

• Your story must describe in detail your typical day and the typical day of McT students.
• Underline or highlight all stem-changing verbs in your story. There should be at least 10 stem-changers used (vary the forms).
• Give your story a title that reflects what it is about.
• You must skip lines (double-spaced). Writing or typing are acceptable. Neatness counts!
• NO TRANSLATORS / NO PLAGIARISM
• To be collected on Monday (and graded) 

• Articles, Nouns, and Adjectives
• The verb "ser"
• Regular -AR/-ER/-IR verbs (meanings and conjugations)
• Interrogative Words

1. Tabs with question words written on them (include question marks and accents!)
2. A sample question beneath on the notebook page using that interrogative word.

• First assignment (Alphabet - Sp1) pasted/taped/stapled on to Page 1. 
• Pages 1-50 numbered in the bottom outside corners. 

1. Please have signed and returned Page 5 of the Course Syllabus for Spanish Class by both you and a parent/guardian. 
2. Please complete the Welcome Back survey (to be turned in). 
3. Please have 2-3 dry-erase markers for the class. I will collect these. Thank you.
4. Please purchase all of the supplies required for the course. The first Interactive Student Notebook assignment will be over this coming weekend.
