Finish the characterization handout we started in class. In the right column, include an example of how Lily is indirectly characterized. In the left column, support this example with textual evidence.

Due:

Assignment

Find an example of a round character, flat character, dynamic character, and static character in "The Secret Life of Bees." Write the character's name and explain why they are what you labeled them.
Ex: Lily-Dynamic
Lily is dynamic because she changes throughout the novel. At first, she believes that skin color makes a difference when it comes to intelligence. However, by the end of the novel, she realizes that anyone can be intelligent and cultured, no matter what color his or her skin is.
