Mathematics

"True knowledge is written in a large book which is continuously opened before our eyes. I speak of the universe. But one cannot understand it unless one learns to understand the language and to recognize the characters in which it is written. It is written in the language of mathematics."

 

The general goals of the Mathematics Department are to encourage students to take a variety of math courses and, through their study of math, improve their logical, analytical and critical thinking skills.
