First major test of the quarter!!!!! Chapter 1

Essay part of Chapter 1 test to be taken today. I will ask two essay questions from Chapter 1 and you will have the entire class period to write out the answers.

Questions 9-24 due on p. 28 of the textbook

Oral presentation due from each student. Each student will have to give an argument on the proof for the existence of God. You may ask your parents for help on this assignment. Each presentation must be at least two paragraphs long.

Extra credit opportunity - You can earn 6 extra credit points if you bring in 3 items from the list provided by the teacher. This lists includes items that are needed by the Catholic Refugee Center.- Some of the items include toothpaste, toilet paper, spray cleaners, light bulbs, laundry detergent, and trash bags.
The bigger items include waste baskets, brooms with dust pans, alarm clocks, shower curtains, pillows, bedspreads, twin sized sheet sets and pots and pans. It is only necessary to bring in one of the bigger items for the extra credit. Always remember what Jesus said, "Whatever you do for one of the least of my brothers, you do for me". The absolute last day to turn in the items is next Friday Sept. 13. Thank you for your support of this most worthy cause!

Read pages 2-9 of chapter 1 and do questions 1-8 on page 28. Be prepared for a quiz on what you have read.
