Description

Spanish 1 is an introduction to the Spanish language and the culture of the
Spanish-speaking world. Class instruction will focus on the basic skills of
reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish. At the end of Level I,
students will be able to express themselves and engage in simple conversations
in Spanish within the limits of their knowledge of vocabulary and structure.
Students are encouraged to use their Spanish skills both inside and outside of
the classroom. Learning to speak, write, and read in Spanish will prepare
students to become citizens of our increasingly globalized world.

  1. The final product of your Ch. 3 autobiography is due on Tuesday, Decmeber 03. You must include the final product, neat complete and flawless, the original first draft (with my corrections), and finally the rubric which I have given all of you. Failure to include all parts of the assignment will result in a substantially lowered grade.
  2. On Monday, December 02, I will not be in school. During our class, you will have an assignment that you must complete in class as independently as possible. This is designed for you to prep for the Ch. 4 Test. Work hard and carefully. That test is right around the corner.
  3. The Chapter 4 Test (En la escuela) is on Thursday, December 05, 2013. Please study carefully. This test will include the following topics:
