All students are responsible for purchasing a paperback copy of their assigned summer reading book(s).
 
Summer reading assignments are due on the first day of school.  All classes will be tested on summer reading the first week of school.

2025 McT Summer Reading


Faith Pham (center) won 2nd place in BBB's state-wide "Laws of Life" Essay Contest and Mary Evan Nelson and William Blanchette both placed Honorable Mention
Ella Wilson (left) and Annie Baggett (right) placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in Mobile Public Library's Essay Contest. Local author and McT alumna Gabriella Saab (center) was the keynote speaker at the awards ceremony.
AP Lit and AP Lang students traveled to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival to watch a live performance of The Tempest
