2026 Hall of Fame Inductees

Celebrating Our Newest Hall of Fame Class

McGill-Toolen proudly welcomes four distinguished alumni into the 2026 Hall of Fame: Robert “Bobby” E. Burgess III ’73, Margaret “Maggie” Bagwell Lacey ’98, Stephanie Lofton Streeter ’94, and Thurston “Eric” Womble ’75.

Robert “Bobby” E. Burgess III ’73 was a standout student-athlete, earning All-State honors in basketball and helping lead McGill to a fourth-place finish in the State 4A Championship. He went on to a successful career in title insurance and co-founded ALMA Agency. His commitment to faith, family, athletics, and service continues to inspire.

Margaret “Maggie” Bagwell Lacey ’98 has built a distinguished career in publishing and communications and currently serves as Executive Editor of Mobile Bay Magazine. A talented artist and leader during her McGill-Toolen years, Maggie continues to give back through community leadership, service, and parish life.

Stephanie Lofton Streeter ’94 dedicated her career to serving others, retiring as County Director of the Mobile County Department of Human Resources. A former band and Flag Corps leader, Stephanie remains deeply involved in church, social work, education, and community service.

Thurston “Eric” Womble ’75 has dedicated his career to leadership and service, serving more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy and earning numerous military honors, including the Legion of Merit. He later held senior leadership roles in government and the defense industry.

Together, these four honorees embody the faith, excellence, leadership, and service that define the McGill-Toolen tradition.
