The campus ministry program at McGill-Toolen provides opportunities for the spiritual development of all students. Focusing on community, accountability and encountering the person of Jesus Christ, the goal is to be more fully alive - by living life in Christ.

  • PRAISE & WORSHIP: Every Wednesday students come to sing praise, pray and reflect in the presence of the Lord (in the McT Chapel). Confession will be offered on some Wednesdays. All students are welcome to participate! 
  • ADORATION: Beginning in Lent ... The most blessed sacrament will be exposed in the Chapel for all students, faculty and staff from 7:30 am - the 3:00 PM. Come and adore the Lord and let Him adore YOU, His sons and daughters.
  • TOTUS TUUS: ("Totally Yours") A women's group which meets in Campus Ministry each week for coffee and women's fellowship. Come join for prayer and community! Led by Ms. Lauren Alley (Theology) and Ms. Allyson Cooney (Math).
  • ESTO VIR ("Be a man!"): A men's group that meets Wednesday mornings for prayer and fellowship. Our goal is to encourage men to step into the breaches in our culture where Christ is lacking and to fill those voids with prayer, fasting and service.  


McT Meals: 

  • Mission: To be and bring Christ to the homeless in our hometown. To build the culture of life. To spread the joy of the Gospel. 
  • Once per month (typically the last Thursday of the month) we will gather in downtown Mobile and serve a hot, home-cooked meal to our homeless brothers and sisters! 


McT Lock-In Challenge (November 19-20 // 6 pm to 6 am)

The Lock-In Challenge is an all-nighter right here at McT! Students are locked into the CYO Hall from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. During that those 12 hours students:

  • -Compete by team in "Minute-To-Win-It" style challenges. 
  • -Have free time to play sports, cards, sing karaoke or just hang out with friends...etc. 
  • -Sing and dance to Praise & Worship
  • -Spend time in prayer in Adoration
  • -Close out the night with Mass at 5:30 a.m! 



The Campus Ministry retreats are student-led weekends that delve into our Catholic faith as well as build the McGill-Toolen spiritual family & community. The retreat team, made up of any Senior wanting to participate, meets weekly several months before the retreat to plan, learn and pray. The goal of all retreats: encounter Christ, grow in our relationships with the person of Jesus Christ and strengthen & form holy friendships. 

  • Full School Retreat Day: October 21
    • A day for the whole school to gather in prayer and re-focus ourselves on our mission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Men's and Women's Retreats
    • Separate retreats for male and female students focusing on understanding who we are, who God is, and what his plan is for us.
  • Women's Retreat: March 17-19 
  • Men's Retreat: May 26-28 ... more info coming soon.
  • Spring Campus Ministry Retreat: May TBD



Pro-Life Club

The Pro-Life club provides opportunities for students to be involved in promoting a greater respect for life in all stages - from conception until natural death. The year is highlighted by an annual pilgrimage to Washington , D.C. to participate in the March for Life. 

  • 40 Days for Life: Thursdays from 6 am - 7 am (March 1 - April 16). 
  • Day of Silence: Students choose to fast from conversations throughout the school day, and instead pray for the unborn lives lost to abortion. 
  • March for Life Pilgrimage:  Students travel to Washington DC for the annual National March for Life. This trip is centered in prayer for a greater respect for all life. Trip includes: Mass for Life with 20,000+, marching prayerfully and joyfully with 500,000+, prayer vigil with the Archdiocese of Mobile (led by Archbishop Rodi), National Holocaust Museum, Arlington Cemetery, and more! 
  • PULSE (March 17-19): PULSE Gulf Coast will be an exciting weekend for high school students to immerse themselves in the pro-life cause. With engaging speakers and testimonies, you will be educated on the pro-life issues and inspired to make a difference. With hands-on activism, games, our famous PULSE Coffee House, and a number of onsite outdoor activities, you will have a blast at PULSE!  Registration Open at!
