Plant Pressing Project

Each student will be individually responsible for “10” different specimen.

• 3 flowering plants ( flower included)

• 1 grass

• 1 clover

• 1 oak tree

• 1 rhododendron

• 1 pine tree

• 1 moss

• 1 vine

• Location gathered

• Conditions of habitat

• Resource for plant identification

• Collectors Name

• Class period

• Each specimen will be worth 20pts for a total of 200pts.

Each specimen will be prepared on card stock paper. Color of the paper can be of the collectors choosing. Each specimen should include a typed form explaining the following:

• Family , Genus , species Name

• Date collected
