The purpose of student activities is to extend the school's educational
endeavors outside of formal class time. Student interest should be
the core and "raison d'etre" of an activity. Whenever possible,
"co-curricular" activities should grow out of curricular
activities and return to enrich them. Student activities should serve
to develop responsible leaders, should promote individual creativity,
and should furnish a basis for school spirit.
