Stadiums, Arenas, and Venues

Portier Center- Home of Yellow Jacket basketball and volleyball. The gym, named after Bishop Michael Portier, is located on the main campus.

Toolen Yard- Home of Yellow Jacket softball. The Friendly Confines of Toolen Yard, named after Archbishop Thomas J. Toolen, is located on the main campus.

Banks-Harris Track & Field- The track and field complex, named for Coach Pete Banks & Coach Angelo Harris, is located on the main campus behind the Ray Dicharry Fieldhouse.

Archbishop Oscar H. Lipscomb Complex- Home to Yellow Jacket baseball, soccer and freshman and JV football, named for Archbishop Oscar H. Lipscomb, is located at the Michael Blvd. Sports complex.

Ladd-Peebles Stadium- A city owned stadium that we call home for our varsity football games, is also home for the Senior Bowl and the GMAC Bowl.

Additional Athletic Facilities

Athletic Training Room
Athletes are provided with excellent preventative treatment and post injury rehabilitation in our on campus training room. Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. provides a full-time athletic trainer at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. Gary Zakutney, nationally and state certified, is responsible for providing medical services to all students and athletes at McGill-Toolen. The training room is located on the west side or field side of the fieldhouse.

Weight Room
The weight room provides athletes at McGill-Toolen the opportunity to increase strength, quickness and flexibility in an up-to-date facility. All athletic teams have access to the weight room year round. The weight room is available to Athletic PE classes throughout the school year.

Indoor Batting Facility
No more baseball practices rained out. Built in the spring of 2004, this state-of-the-art batting facility, provides the baseball team with endless opportunities for batting practice during the baseball season. Also housed in this facility are indoor pitching mounds, lockers and dressing area as well as meeting areas.

Portier Center, Toolen Yard and Banks-Harris Track and Field
From I-65, take exit 4 onto Dauphin Street. Travel east 3.2 miles to Lafayette Street. Left on Lafayette for 0.1 mile. The gym parking lot is on the left and serves as parking for all three of these venues.

Archbishop Oscar H. Lipscomb Complex
From I-65, take exit 3 to Airport Blvd. West for 0.4 mile to Montlimar Ave. Turn left onto Montlimar for 1 mile to Michael Bld. Turn right on Michael Blvd. and travel 0.4 mile and turn right on Marion Beckham Dr. The complex is on the right.

Ladd-Peebles Stadium
From I-65, take exit 4 onto Dauphin Street. Travel east 2.6 miles to Houston Street. Turn right on Houston Street and travel 0.7 miles to Virginia Street. Turn left on Virginia Street and travel 0.2 miles to Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
