George W. "Skip" Finkbohner III
George W. "Skip" Finkbohner III was named McGill-Toolen Male Athlete of the Year in 1979 his senior year. In his four years at McGill-Toolen, the tennis team won four straight state championships, and he lost only one singles match in state level competition. In 1978 the team placed 8th nationally in the National High School Tennis Championships and he was named Crichton Optimist Club Tennis Player of the Year.
Finkbohner went on to graduate magna cum laude from Duke University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Duke University Law School in 1986. A partner in the law firm of Cunningham, Bounds, Yance, Crowder and Brown, L.L.C., he belongs to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Board of Governors of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, and has served in various capacities on the Civil Practice Committee of the Mobile Bar Association. He received a Martindale Hubbell AV Rating in 1998 and is certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
He is married to Sandra Marie Miller and has three daughters: Baxter, Rachel and Hannah Marie.
